Google Accounts are the gateway to some of the most useful apps on your phone, laptop, and other devices. Whether it's Gmail, Google Calendar, YouTube, or any of the other services the search giant offers, having one password to access them all is very convenient.
But the other side of the coin is that you can't access anything if you forget that password.
Don't worry though, because it's very easy to reset your Google credentials, forget google password. This is what you should do.
How to reset the password of a forgotten Google account?
On your phone, open Settings > Google and tap the Manage your Google Account button.
Below your name and profile photo, you'll see a row of headers that include your home page and personal information. Swipe left in this area to reveal more options, then tap Security.
In the section titled Sign in to Google you will find the Password option. This tells you the last time you changed your password and allows you to reset a forgotten password, so tap it to proceed to the next stage.
A new page will open asking you to enter your password. Obviously this is not possible, so click Forgot your password? option instead (below, left).
You will now have the opportunity to enter the password used previously as a means of recovering the account. If you remember one, write it down and click Next; otherwise, click Try another method.
Depending on the level of security you have set up on your account, you will be asked to use your fingerprint to verify your identity or have a verification code sent to your backup email address. Follow the route that suits your settings and then you can create a new password to replace the forgotten password on your account.
