The Linksys extender may be configured in three different ways: via the WiFi app, web-based setup, and WPS protocol. For the final two procedures, you need to use the Linksys app and the web browser's setup window. This also requires you to follow a number of actions. These include looking up the web address, going to the Linksys extender login page, and following the instructions on the screen. The Linksys WiFi app installation requirement applies to the app setup approach as well. However, the first approach doesn't include any complicated actions to follow in addition to these strategies. With that method, setting up is simple and simply requires using the WPS buttons on the router and extension. Use this procedure and press each button independently if your router has a compatible WPS button.   To log in to the Linksys extender for the first time, you will need to use the default login credentials. Which includes the username and password and these might be admin by default. These details are case-sensitive and you must change them after completing the setup. But, make sure to use and insert these details in the right manner or without any mistakes. So, to change these, go to the extender’s web interference and do theLinksys extender login first. Then, access the advanced settings and choose Security Settings from there. Further, select to set a new password and create the password that you want. However, ensure to make it strong enough by adding some special and numeric characters to it. So that, there will be no unauthorized access to it and the network will remain safe.
